Groups Study Great Lakes-Mississippi River Split

July 22, 2010 -- Groups representing states and cities in the Great Lakes region are investigating how to slam the door on invasive species such as Asian carp by severing the link between the lakes and the Mississippi River basin.

The Great Lakes Commission and the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Cities Initiative announced an 18-month study Thursday. Read the full story to get the details.
