Great Lakes Fish Getting Smaller
March 15, 2010 -- Invasive species are affecting the reproductive cycles of local fish, says the manager of the Bluewater Anglers fish hatchery.
The Point Edward hatchery, under the Blue Water Bridge, breeds chinook salmon, brown trout and rainbow trout to supply the local waterways for anglers.
"Our mature fish are healthy fish that we collect our eggs from, but they're not as big as they used to be," said Jake Van Rooyen. Read the full story to get the details.
